Nautical Sounds occurred by accident when Greg Shields of the band Kash'd Out called Captain Christian Obenshain, a sightseeing/dolphin tour boat captain. A common friend Devin introduced the two in October 2021 with the intention the captain might sponsor Kash'd Out's concert at Jannus Live. Capt. Christian pointed out to Greg his tour boat is 3 blocks from Jannus. "Hmmmm, lets cook somethin' up" was Gregs response and the idea was born.
